Imphal, October 07 2023: The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has appealed to all the leaders of churches and non-Christian religious bodies to observe the Naga National Prayer Day on October 15 (Sunday) and take up fervent prayers for the nation (s) .

General Secretary CNC, Rev Seksim Kasar in a statement informed that for this year 2023, the day will be observed under the theme 'Choose Life' (Duet.

30:19, 20) .

The CNC also listed the prayer points which include confessional prayer for self; prayer of repentance for the forgiveness of the sins of the Nation; prayer for Indo-Naga peace process; prayer for Naga people and prayer of blessings for the collective leadership and National leaders, all the National workers in civil set-ups including regional workers, Army chiefs and all the armies in units and frontline and National political prisoners and victims and their families.
