Root out Kuki narco terrorists call raised

Bishnupur/Kakching/Thoubal, February 15 2024: Massive protests were held in Bishnupur, Kakching and Thoubal districts today in line with the call for a mass protest across the State by People's Alliance for Peace and Progress Manipur (PAPPM) demanding to uproot Kuki narco-terrorist from Manipur.

Bishnupur

Wide scale protests were held across Bishnupur district today under the objective to 'Save Manipur, Save India' from the offensive of Kuki narco-terrorists.

Meira Paibis, local volunteers and village volunteer forces came out and joined in the protest along the roadside from Nambol till Oinam, Yumnam Khunou, Keinou, Ngaikhong Khunou, Khwairakpam, Bishnupur, Nachou Panthong, Potshangbam, Upokpi, Toupokpi, Ningthoukhong, Ningthou khong Kha Khunou, Thinungei, Phubala, Sunusiphai, Naranseina, Thamnapokpi, Ngakhalawai, Moirang Lamkhai, Okshongbung, Tronglaobi, Terakhongshangbi, Moirang Keithel, Thana Leikai, Kokilabon, Thoya, Haokrampat, Moirang khunou, Keirenphabi, Thangalawai, Kumbi, Naodakhong, Wangoo, Thanga, Keibul etc.

The protestors chanted slogans such as 'We want Peace', 'Save Manipur Save India', 'Abrogate SoO with Kuki terrorists', 'Down! Down ! Kuki narco-terrorists', 'Deport Illegal Kuki migrants after 196', 'Remove Double Standard Assam Rifles (AR)' etc and placards which read the above demands were also used.

Kakching

Voicing the above demands and in response to the call of PAPPM for a mass protest across the State against the brutality of Kuki narco terrorists, protests were staged at Kakching District Headquarters today.

As a part of the protest, a large number of Meira Paibis of Kakching and members of Kakching Arambai Unit formed human chain holding the National flag of India and Salai Taret flag of Manipur stressing on the need of safeguarding the State and the country from Kuki terrorists.

The locals of Wabagai also held similar protests at their respective localities.

Thoubal

Thoubal District Headquarters echoed with the slogans demanding the annihilation of Kuki narco terrorists to safeguard the unity and integrity of Manipur and India as a whole.

The slogans were raised during the massive protest demonstration staged today under the aegis of PAPPM.

Thoubal Keithel and Thoubal Apunba Meira Paibi joined in the protest and formed a human chain.

The protestors used placards which read 'Abrogate SoO pact with Kuki militants', 'Deport Kuki immigrants who came to Manipur after 1961', 'We want Peace', etc.

A protestor named AK Chitra while speaking on the sidelines strongly denounced the atrocities of Kukis and their dirty tactics to disintegrate Manipur demanding a separate administration.

She called for collective efforts to defeat the Kukis and to protect the integrity of Manipur.

The meira paibis of Irong Leima Panthoibi Meira Paibi, Thoudam also staged a similar protest in their area.
