Bikash steers Manipur to 174-run victory over Meghalaya

Bikash Singh produced an all-round performance to help Manipur seal a comprehensive 174-run win over Meghalaya in the Men's U-25 State A Trophy on Sunday at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati.
Electing to bat first, Manipur scored 281 for 6 in the stipulated 50 overs.
The state side's innings saw Johnson make 75 off 104 balls as Bikash Singh smashed a blistering 62 off 24 balls.
Kishan (59) and Andyroshan (23) were other noticeable run-getters.
After his brilliant knock, Bikash followed up his good form with the ball as he wreaked havoc on the opposition batting lineup by taking 5 wickets that made short work of Meghalaya.
The state bowlers needed 28.5 over to bundle out Meghalaya for 107.Bibek (27), Bonchang Sangma (26) and Mukesh (16) were the only batsmen who could score in double digits for the losing side.
Both Nitesh and Afred Hmar claimed two scalps as Ch Ranjan chipped in with a wicket in Manipur's emphatic victory.
Earlier, Chandam, Mukesh and Bibek took two wickets each for Meghalaya.
