MNCA thank CM, Works Min for aid to Cooch Behar trophy team

Imphal, November 21 2021:
The Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) has extended gratitude to Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Works Minister Thongam Biswajit for extending financial assistance of Rs 50 thousand each to the Bhubaneshwar bound State team for Cooch Behar Trophy 2021-22 .

The U-19 multi-day tournament will start on November 29 and culminate on January 25, 2022 at Pune.
In plate group stage of the tournament, Manipur will play Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Nagaland, said MNCA joint secretary K Bobin in a statement.
The State team left Imphal today and before their departure at Imphal International Airport, they were encouraged by the Chief Minister N Biren and Works Minister Thongam Biswajit who arrived there to see off Union Minister, Piyush Goyal, the statement said.
