Wushu body fetes MS Sarangthem

Imphal, November 02 2011:
Wushu Association of Manipur organised a felicitation function in honour of MS (Manaobi Singh) Sarangthem who was recently decorated with the Indian Police Service ranking.
The reception cum felicitation function held today at the Khuman Lampak Main stadium Wushu Training hall was also in celebration of MS Sarangthem completing the seventh year as member of International Human Rights Committee and International Bar Association.
MS Sarangthem, who is a Master in Law served for a brief while as Judicial Magistrate First Class (Thoubal & Churachandpur), and presently the Commandant of 2nd Battalion Manipur Rifles.

In addition to being a KBI Black Belt holder in judo under the guidance of (late) Sarangthem Sensei Tomba (better known as Judo Tomba), MS Sarangthem is a Life Member of Malaysia-based Karate Budokan International as well as Executive Member of Wushu Association of India.
The felicitation programme was attended by (Retd) District and Session Judge Kh Surendra, State wushu association treasurer Jugindro, Senior Advocate Angomcha Araba, former Minister Th Jibon, Additional Secretary Bobby Waikhom, wushu players and coaches.
