Kangpokpi, November 01 2015 :
Jamsat Songtun Youth Club (JSYC), a noted football club in Sadar Hills today vehemently condemned AMFA over the alleged intended scrapping of JSYC in the men's final match of the 20th Winner's Cup, 2015 .
Strongly decrying the alleged unfair attitude of the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) in denying their rightful place in the 20th Winner's Cup men's final match played yesterday JSYC, Manager Helun Haokip said that the AMFA have committed a blatant mistake by scrapping JSYC, Sadar Hills from the men's final match of the Winner's Cup, 2015 .
He continued that on October 30, DSA Sadar Hills general secretary, who is also the executive member of AMFA was informed that JSYC, Sadar Hills will play the men's final match of the 20th Winner's Cup with KLASA, Bishnupur.
However, it was learnt from a reliable source that AMFA issued a late night statement on October 30 about the AMFA executive decision to scratch JSYC, Sadar Hills from the final match allegedly for fielding Ng Bedeenpar Moyon, a registered player of UBSA, Manta Kakching.
JSYC manager Helun Haokip allegedly said that there is no official intimation to the club from the governing authority even on the day of the final match while the club did not receive any official and written intimation from AMFA as per their rules No 9 clause 2 (a) until yesterday.
He also said that on July 7 UBSA, Manta Kakching General Secretary signed on behalf of the club loaning Ng Bedeenpar Moyon to JSYC and the requisite forms were subsequently submitted at the AMFA office on July 14 while a photocopy of the same had been forwarded to DSA, Sadar Hills.
He further alleged that general secretary of DSA Kakching and AMFA joint secretary Nilo, who hails from Kakching colluded with Sagolband United while adding that misplacing JSYC documents was the handiwork of an insider.
Helun also said that by-laws and guidelines served was well away as expected from the governing body and asked AMFA to explain the rational of scratching one club after winning both home & away match after they duly authorized the players.
He also pointed out the official intimation of the scrapping JSYC Sadar Hills did not reach their office while the final match had already been played.
The tribal football fraternity should stoutly oppose the sinister and unfair attitude of the football governing body of the State, said Helun Haokip while demanding impartiality on the part of AMFA.
