LIMCA, Langdum and MED INC, Bapupara claimed victories on the third day of the ongoing 6th State Level Open Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organised by Young Crickets, Bamon Kampu at Irilbung High School ground.
In today's Pool D match, LIMCA, Langdum registered a 49-run victory against YC - 2, Bamon Kampu.
Winning the toss, LIMCA elected to bat first and set a target of 132 runs with 9 wickets down in 20 overs while YC-2 managed to score just 83-run with all men down in 17 overs.
In the first innings, Singhajit's 49-run of 41 ball was dismissed by Jamesh while Manoranjan, Poreiton, Rishikanta and Priyobarta scored 18, 16, 15 and 13-run respectively.
In the second innings, Sunil, James Singh and Debeshore managed to put 24, 23 and 21-run respectively after both the openers James (0) and Kiran (0) were removed by Lamyanba and Bruce Lee respectively in the first 12-ball.In the Pool A match, MED INC, Babupara defeated CLT, Singjamei by 7 wickets.
Elected to bat first, CLT put on 132-run with all men down in 18.2 overs.
CLT openers, Maton and Jacky started well scoring 30 and 45-run respectively but MED INC bowlers took all the wickets in 18.2 overs.
In the second innings, Abullah's confident 91-run in 48-ball helped MED INC to claimed a 7-wicket win against CLT.
The man of the match went to Abdullah.
Tomorrow, PYC SONALIKA will meet ACT at 8 am while KPG will play with SSC at 12.30 pm.
