IFC, YWC (M) post second wins in IW 2nd Division Football League Tournament

Imphal, November 23 2021: YWC, Malom and IFC, Lamphel secured their second group stage victories in the ongoing 10th K Karnajit Singh Memorial Second Division Football League today at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi.

In the third Group A league match of the tournament, YWC enjoyed a 1-0 lead till halfway with S Arun finding the target in the 22nd minute before sealing a 2-1 win over JUVENILE, Tera today.

The second goal for the winning side came from M Biken in the 64th minute before Steven scored the Tera side's only goal late in the 80th minute.

Later, in the third Group B league match, IFC which had beaten KAN, Kadangband 4-0 in the previous match beat SYPA, Awang Sekmai 1-0.The winning goal was scored by Nunganing goal in the 40th minute.

SOYO win big in Mani Sharma 3rd Division League
SOYO, Sanjenbam cruised to an emphatic 5-1 win over MSC, Malom in the 4th Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League Tournament being organised by the Imphal West District Football Association at the same ground.

Dharmajoy was in prolific form today as he banged in twice (24', 25) in the opening half and completed his treble in the second half (43') to ensure SOYO win 5-1.Thangrenchung too find his name on the scoresheet as he netted SOYO's third goal before the break and Amarjit banged in the final nail in the 59th minute.

The face saving goal for the Malom side was scored by M Devit in the 75th minute.
