Dengue cases reach 75 in Moreh

TENGNOUPAL, November 23 2021:
The border town of Moreh has been witnessing an unprecedented rise in dengue cases over the last few weeks.
As of Monday, 34 dengue positive cases were reported from Chavangphai village, taking the total number of positive cases in Moreh to 75.Positive cases have been reported from all the wards of Moreh except from Ward No 6 so far.
Cases were also reported from Santi Nagar, Turel Wangma, S Moljol village, Govajang village and T Yangnom village.
Moreover, District Malaria Officer (DMO) Tengnoupal district, Dr Manibushan Yaikhom and Assistant DMO, Kamei Khamchungpu Rongmei has been carrying out various preventive measures in Moreh including fogging and spraying larvicide to control the surge of dengue infection.
