Cricket: Manipur beat Arunachal by 26 runs

Imphal, November 23 2021:
Manipur beat Arunachal by 26 runs in the Men's U-25 State A Trophy 2021-22 on Tuesday at Numalijalah Parade Ground, Amingaon, Guwahati.
The state side batted first and posted a total of 240 for the loss of six wickets.
In the innings, Guniram (42), Kishan (40 not out), Nawaz (30), Johnson (24), Nitesh (21), Andyroshan (21), Mohammed Mustaque (13 not out) and Bikash Singh (11) were the contributors to Manipur's total.
In their run chase, Arunachal put up a spirited fight with Subham (57), MI Khan (51) and T Sania (42) scoring a combined total of 150 runs but the team fell short of their target as they ended up collecting 214 for 9.A fine bowling effort from Th Anand, Bikash Singh and Kishan helped Manipur secure the victory.
The state trio finished with two wickets each as Ch Ranjan chipped in with one.
Earlier, Yorjum Sera and Likha Sonia claimed two wickets apiece while MI Khan took one for Arunachal.
