In the tense fight, KHSC shot into the lead when Nelson neatly trapped the ball, beat a couple of defenders and entered the D area.
Taking control of the ball and after positioning him well in front of the goalmouth, Nelson had little difficulty in sending the ball past the goalkeeper of SYUC in the 3rd minute of the match.
Stung by the early goal, SYUC put more men in the attack and played with a purpose, raiding the citadel of KHSC a couple of times.
The defence line of KHSC lived up to the task at hand and managed to keep the marauding players of SYUC in check.
A fine move down the flank saw the ball go deep into the territory of KHSC and a precise pass to the midfield saw Deveshor neatly controlling the ball.
Sidestepping a couple of defenders, Deveshor let go a rasping shot that sounded the board in the 8th minute to bring his team SYUC back into the match.
The equaliser did not lull the players of SYUC and they kept on finding the gaps to threaten the goal of KHSC.
Off one such penetrative move, Anil found himself well placed inside the D box of the rival team and he made no mistake in sending the ball home in the 20th minute to help his team SYUC take the lead.
After giving away the lead, KHSC put more purpose into the game and played to a plan to stretch the defence line of SYUC to the limit.
In the 22nd minute of the match, the ball went to a lurking Rohit on top of the penalty area.
Neatly controlling the ball, Rohit swerved and turned to catch the defence line of SYUC on the wrong foot and neatly tapped in the ball to restore parity in the 22nd minute.
The final and winning goal for KHSC came in the 44th minute when Nelson rose to the occasion to beat the custodian of SYUC with a well placed shot and emerge worthy winners.
The second match of the day saw SEYO, Singjamei dominating in every aspect of the match to literally take the game away from a hapless MEIRAA, Bashikhong.
Making their intentions clear from the start, the players of SEYO were all over the field dictating the pace of the match with some well co-ordinated moves.
Completely dominating the mid-field SEYO players were all over the place with some fast paced runs and good ball control.
Stretching the defence line of MEIRAA to the limit, the players of SEYO made inroads into the territory of the rival team threatening their citadel numerous times.
Latching onto a defence splitting pass G Dhanakumar neatly side stepped a couple of defenders and had little trouble in despatching the ball home in the 18th minute to help his team, SEYO take the lead.
After the first goal, SEYO did not loosen their hold on the match and continued to raid the rival's citadel.
Launching a blistering attack from the mid field, the forward line of SEYO combined well and they once again managed to breach the defence line of MEIRAA.
The ball went to M Premchand who outran a couple of defenders and unleashed a power packed shot to find the goal in the 19th minute to increase the lead of SEYO to 2-0 .
The blitzkrieg continued and SEYO again found the target when Th Henthoiba found himself well placed to take a perfect shot at the goal, that beat the custodian of MEIRAA hands down.
The goal feast continued with some good running and neat ball control and the fourth goal for SEYO came in the 34th minute through M Premchand.
Th Henthoiba continued with the good work and added another goal in the 36th minute.
MEIRAA managed to pull back a goal when N Rojesh sounded the board in the 44th minute of the match but by then it was too little and too late.
The goal feast continued for SEYO and three more goals were added in quick succession through Ksh Tenison in the 47th minute and N Amarjit in the 48th minute and again in the 54th minute to finish the humiliation of MEIRAA.
