Imphal, January 25, 2011:
While condemning the silent manner of the state government and its incapability to investigate the matter of the killing of BSEM Chairman, Dr N Kunjabihari, the JAC against the killing has appealed to the Board of Secondary Education Manipur not to take up any programmes related to students.
The JAC will be organizing a leaders meet on January 29 at MDU Hall to discuss further agitations.
A press release of the JAC alleged that the state government and the board is trying to sideline the issue by announcing the programme for the HSLC Examination.
The JAC questioned the state government why is it taking so long to investigate the matter even though it could arrest the persons involved in the Telipati bomb blast just 24 hours after the blast.
Expressing doubt that top officials of the government may be involved in the killing, the JAC demanded the state government to hand over the case to CBI at the earliest.
