MLA demands evidence

Clarifying that he never misused or misappropriated rice allocated to Keishamthong AC under NFSA, MLA
L Ibomcha has offered to resign from the post of MLA and also to
stop contesting elections if any one can evidence about his alleged
wrongdoing.
Speaking to media persons at his Keishamthong residence
today, Ibomcha even announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh
if any one can proof that he swindled NFSA rice.
He said that he would initiate a breach of privilege motion
against four individuals who have been allegedly spreading a
false propaganda that he swindled NFSA rice in addition to
filing a criminal defamation suit at Court.
A written appeal has been sent to the CAF&PD Depart-
ment as well as the concerned Minister seeking details like the
quantities of rice allocated to different Assembly segments
under NFSA but there has been no response till date.
