Imphal, November 02 2010:
Dr Raghumani Singh Ningthoujam, who is a scientific officer in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, has been elected as the Young Associate of Maharashtra Academy of Science under 40 years category for his significant contributions to Chemical sciences on October 20.The award was conferred to the young scientist from Manipur on the basis of his research work on nano-materials.
Son of late Ningthoujam Kula Singh and Ningthoujam Ongbi Meipak Devi of Thoubal Achouba, Dr Raghumani did M Sc at Chemistry Department, Manipur University and PhD at IIT Kanpur.
