Imphal, June 28 2015 :
An Asian openbill (openbill stork) has been rescued by one Ningthoujam Prafulo of Kakching Wairi Ningthoujam Leikai.
Prafulo came across the stork at Kakching Eco Park, a statement issued by PFA stated.
The bird which was handed over to PFA, Manipur was later released at a suitable site.
In the meantime, a 5 feet long cobra and a Bengal slow loris was rescued from Yairipok Khoirom Leikai and Serou bazar individually by one Yensenbam Manitomba and one Haobam Ibobi.
The animals have been released at suitable sites on the same day by PFA volunteers, the statement informed.
