Imphal, May17 2009:
29 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) conducted anti-malaria camp at Lokchao village yesterday.
During a camp a team of doctors and medical assistants of 29 Assam Rifles carried out extensive fogging and fumigation in the village and the villagers were given anti-malaria tablets as well as lecture on the precaution to be taken to prevent malaria.
On the other hand, 20 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a medical camp at Molnoi village yesterday and treated around 250 civilians.
