Imphal, May17 2009: The proscribed KCP (MC) has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack at Langol View Clinic and the killing of one non-local barber at Khamnam Bazar in addition to declaring ban on DESAM.

The recent bomb attack at Langol View Clinic was undertaken by KCP (MC) under its campaign to redress wrongs existing in private hospitals an clinics coupled with the adamant of the clinic authority against the conditions and regulations set by the party.

A press release issued by the KCP (MC)'s information and public relation officer Puranthaba invited suggestions to the party regarding medical fees being charged by private hospitals and clinics from impoverished people within the month of June.

The decision of the party's Supreme Committee will be final on the matter.

Claiming that the IED found at Lamphel Sanakeithel on May 14 was planted by its cadres, the outfit said that it was a warning to the State Government.

The outfit also claimed responsibility for killing Mantum Thakur (24) s/o Ram Pratap of Begusarai, Bihar at Khamnam Bazar on May 13.The outfit accused Mantum Thakur of acting as an informer of security forces.

Reacting to the statements made by DESAM about medicine stockists, the KCP (MC) asserted that it knew very well the intention of DESAM.

For undue interference in the matter relating to the medicine stockists and the outfit, DESAM has been banned for good, the outfit declared.

Whoever causing impedance to the activities of the outfit would be considered as enemies and they would be punished at any time.

It further exhorted student bodies to act as students and to concentrate on their duties towards redressing the ailing education system of the State.

Noting that many labourers working in brick kilns have not been paid wages at the rate fixed by the Government, the KCP (MC) asked all concerned to rectify the discrepancy on their own failing which they would not be given any room for negotiation in future.

It further asked all concerned not to use any machinery in implementing NREGS works.

It also asked all computer centres to stop all fraudulent practices such as opening computer classes and distributing certificates without conducting proper class in their bid to easy money.
