New Delhi, August 13 2009:
All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) has asserted that no non-Northeast student be allowed to get admission at NEIGRIMS under Northeast quota.
The student body in a press release said that names of some students from outside Northeast have been detected in the NE successful candidates' list selected from the entrance test for admission in the medical institute based in Shillong.
With regards to Manipur, AMSU said, no Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) must be issued to non-indigenous people of the State.
The students' body would initiate legal fight if anybody issues PRC to any outsider, AMSU warned.
