Haj pilgrims vaccinated

Imphal, June 17 2015 :
Altogether 285 persons who will be making the annual Haj pilgrimage to Mecca were given Inactivated Influenza and Meningococcal Polysaccharide vaccines on Wednesday.
The vaccines had been procured from Kolkata, said Manipur State Haj Committee executive member and MOBED Project director Md Salauddin.
He said the vaccines will protect the Haj pilgrims from seasonal influenza viruses.
He further said this time the Indians who are visiting the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia will get two luggages of the same kind and the Manipur State Haj Committee is now ready to distribute the same.
