Traffic arrangements put in place for June 18 observance

Manipur police have made elaborate traffic and parking arrangements for June 18 observance.
The regulation will be effective from 6 am to 5 pm, said a statement.
All employees of offices/schools located within the sensitized area shall be allowed to cross the cut-points after confirming their identity.
All are requested to carry their respective valid identity cards, said the statement.
The vehicles coming from Thoubal side shall be diverted from Singjamei bazar towards Kongba road and Wangkhei side via Singjamei bridge and park at near Palace compound ground.
The vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side shall be diverted at Khagempalli crossing and Kwakeithel bazar towards Lamphel bus parking via Tera bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel Sanakeithel and parked there.
On their return journey the vehicles shall follow the same route, the statement said.
The vehicles coming from Tiddim side shall be diverted from Kwakeithel via Tera bazar, Sagolband road towards the Jiri parking area.
On their return journey the vehicles shall follow the same route.
The vehicles coming from Sagolband road shall be parked near Jiri parking area.
The vehicles coming from Uripok Kangchup road shall be parked near JAS petrol pump, Uripok/Cosmo Dental Clinic area.
The vehicles coming from Sekmai shall be diverted at Khongnang Ani Karak towards Inter State Bus Terminus and parked around the main stadium.
The vehicles coming from Pangei side shall park in front of Lamlong High School.
The vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawombung side shall be parked at Northern side of Lamlong bazar.
The vehicles coming from Tinsid road shall be parked at northern side of Tinsid road at Lamlong bazar.
The vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides shall be parked at Andro parking.
People coming to Kekrupat shall be allowed only from Minuthong and Khuman Lampak side.
No one except earmarked vehicles shall be allowed to come to Kekrupat via Keishampat.
All vehicles shall be diverted at Kongba crossing towards Singjamei bridge via Ayangpalli Road.
One-way traffic system shall be enforced along the Loklaobung bridge and Thumbuthong bridge.
Vehicles shall be allowed to ply only from west to east (ie from NH-2 towards Thangapat).
All vehicles coming from Thoubal side ferrying people to attend the function shall be diverted towards Singjamei bridge - Kongba road, Wangkhei and towards New Checkon road.
Dropping area will be Hafiz Hatta road while parking area is Near Palace Compound ground.
All vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side carrying people to attend the function shall be diverted from Pishumthong to Singjamei traffic point and proceed towards Loklaobung bridge and reach New Checkon road via Thangapat and Palace Compound road.
Dropping area will be Hafiz Hatta road while parking area is near Palace Compound ground.
All vehicles coming from Tiddim side shall get diverted from Keishampat junction towards Mayai Lambi, Pishumthong, Singjamei traffic point, Loklaobung bridge and reach New Checkon road via Thangapat Palace Compound road towards main stadium, Khuman Lampak via Lamlong bridge.
All passengers will be dropped at Hafiz Hatta road and vehicles parked at around the main stadium, Khuman Lampak.
All vehicles coming from New Cachhar road shall be diverted at Maharani bridge towards Wahengbam Leikai, Keishampat junction towards Mayai Lambi, Pishumthong, Singjamei traffic point, Loklaobung bridge and reach New Checkon road via Thangapat and Palace Compound road towards Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak via Lamlong bridge.
Passengers will be dropped at Hafiz Hatta road and vehicles parked at near main stadium, Khuman Lampak.
The vehicles coming from Uripok-Kangchup road shall be diverted at Maharani bridge towards Wahengbam Leikai, Keishampat junction towards Mayai Lambi, Pishumthong, Singjamei traffic point, Loklaobung bridge and reach New Checkon road via Thangapat and Palace Compound road towards Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak via Lamlong bridge.
Passengers will be dropped at Hafiz Hatta road and vehicles parked at near main stadium, Khuman Lampak.
The vehicles coming from Sekmai side shall enter Stadium complex via Dingku road and drop the passengers near stadium and then come out at Dingku road via Pandol road.
The vehicles coming from Pangei side shall be diverted at Lamlong bazar towards Minuthong via Telipati.
The vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawombung side will proceed towards Minuthong via Lamlong bazar.
After dropping the passengers at Minuthong, they shall proceed towards Lamlong via Checkon crossing and Ayangpalli road and park vehicles at Lamlong bazar along Ukhrul road.
The vehicles coming from Tinsid road shall be diverted from Lamlong bazar towards Minuthong where the passengers will be dropped.
From there, they will proceed to Lamlong via Checkon crossing and Ayangpalli road and park along Tinsid road.
The vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides will proceed to Minuthong where the passengers will be dropped.
From there, they will proceed and park near Hafiz Hatta.
The vehicles for the 18 victims shall be allowed to go across Khoyathong LIC crossing towards North AOC.
Dropping area will be RK Sanatombi School, North AOC, said the statement.
