State issues dominate Yova Morch meet

A two-day long BJP Youth Wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) National executive Meeting was held at Country Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi from June 13 to 14 during which Pukhrambam Somojit Singh, Co-Incharge of North East states was entrusted the responsibility of Prabhari of Arunachal Pradesh.
During the meeting, various problems related to the North east states were put up for discussion.
In the meeting Somojit pointed out that people of Manipur have been agitating to press the demand for implementation of Inner Line Permit system and endorsed that re-imposition of ILP is a must in Manipur today as the population of non-Manipuri is more than 7 lakh is becoming a big threat to the native people.
He also highlighted the issues related to corruption and drug trafficking in the north east region, particularly Manipur, where even involvement of an Indian Army Colonel and the son of an MLA and former Minister have come to light.
