Imphal, August 26 2012:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Barak Valley (ZSUBV) has flayed the conduct of CRPF personnel posted at Barak Bridge point along NH-37 for the inconveniences caused to the travellers, reports our Jiribam Correspondent.
The union said that CRPF personnel ordered the travellers coming in light vehicles like Tata Sumo, Winger and Force Cruiser to cross the bridge on foot.
However, trucks loaded with goods weighing more than 20 tons were allowed to cross the bridge without any hindrance, it added.
The union urged the authority concerned to look into the matter immediately.
