The Poumai Naga Women's Union (PNNM) today observed its 34th Raising Day by planting trees.
PNNM reportedly opted to go planting trees this year in view of the ensuing global pandemic.
PNNM was established on August 9, 1987 with V Martha and (L) V Esther as the first President and Secretary of the Union.
On this auspicious occasion, P Delilah Pao, President PNNM wished all the constituent units of the Poumai Naga Women's Union, members and families of the organisations.
Other federating units of the Union also reportedly carried out tree plantation drives in their respective villages.
