Electronic library replacing conventional library

The uneasiness often feel by bookworms while visiting libraries in search of knowledge is likely to come to a close as 'electronic library' has now virtually replaced the former.
The wind of change has also brought advancement in the field of electronic library which can be accessed by booklovers without facing any sort of awkward situation they often encounter in conventional libraries which take long hours.
Electronic library easily provides immediate information on different subjects and everybody can read a lot of books in a couple of clicks.
A 2-day long workshop on "Electronic Library Content and Management" began here on Thursday at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Takyel complex organised by NIT, Manipur.
At the inaugural function of the workshop, Dr Sarungbam Birendra, Director, NIT, Manipur, said it is very important to organise such workshops on electronic library.
He said participants of the discussion should try to clearly understand and store up everything what the experts in the field share on their proficiencies.
