Tamenglong district ready for the poll

Imphal, March 07 2017:
The fate of 10 candidates will be decided in the second phase of the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election, 2017 which is going to be held tomorrow (March 8, 2017) in Tamenglong district.
3 candidates are contesting from INC (Indian National Congress), 3 candidates from BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party), 2 candidates from NPF (Naga People's Front) and 1 candidate from AITC (All India Trinamool Congress) .

5,300 security personnel have been deployed for 181 polling stations of Tamenglong disrtict.
Out of which 27 Company from SSB, 19 Company from CRPF and 700 State Police personnel are engaged for the election.
Altogether 300 heavy and light vehicles and around 905 polling personnel are engaged for the second phase of election in Tamenglong district.
