A reception function in honour of all those who participated in the second mass cycle rally organised by All Manipur Anti-Drug Association (AMADA) in connection with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was held at Kangla Hall today.
The participating cyclists, medical team, media-persons who covered event and volunteers were felicitated with simple gifts at the occasion.
Dean of Students� Welfare, Manipur University Prof W Nabakumar and AMADA president L Tomba Meitei were chief guest and president of the reception function which was also attended by Director of RK Sanatombi Devi Research Institute of Social Science Prof N Muhindro and Assistant Director (Coaching) of Youth Affairs and Sports T Purnachandra as guests of honour.
The 2nd mass cycle rally of the AMADA had been flagged off from Kangla on June 21 and it was participated by around 600 people including 350 cyclists and 250 volunteers and other helpers.
The rally had covered six districts of the State.
