Imphal, October 08 2013 :
Greeting all the people of Kangleipak (Manipur), CorCom member parties, revolutionary groups of the region as well as the media fraternity, PREPAK Chairman N Nongdrenkhomba has blamed India for launching population invasion upon Kangleipak.
A statement issued by the Chairman on the occasion of the outfit's 36th raising day (October 9) alleged that the Government of India, through military occupation, has been subjugating the people of Kangleipak in all aspects of their life including sovereignty, politics, law, economy and socio-culture.
"Apart from these classic repressive measures, GoI has devised many new colonial policies with the sinister objective of destroying the collective spirit of our people and ultimately exterminate the entire nation", Nongdrenkhomba asserted.
Population invasion, engineering communal riots, propagating the ideas of liberalism in the name of democracy, chemical invasion, gang rape, surrender drama and rampant exploitation of natural resources are some characteristics of the new colonial policy devised by GoI, the outfit alleged.
Assimilation, dilution, birth control and migration are some of the tools used by GoI in its strategy called population invasion.
Even as GoI has been conspiring relentlessly to exterminate all the people of Kangleipak, leaders of the alleged puppet State Government have been paying little heed.
The alleged puppet leaders never bothered to take any effective measures to counter the population invasion.
At the same time, GoI has been consistently scheming to turn the North East region into a zone of communal riots.
Inciting hatred and pitching one community against another are common characters of Indian leaders.
The recent communal riot in UP which claimed lives of more than 100 people was an outcome of communal politics played by some corrupted political leaders of India.
In a similar fashion, GoI has been following many clandestine and sinister policies aimed at igniting communal conflicts and conflagrations so that the region can never build up their collective strength.
On account of GoI's divide and rule policy, the region has already witnessed many cases of violent communal conflicts and clashes.
"Yet, each and every indigenous people of Kangleipak need to understand that we are all brothers, related by blood", Nongdrenkhomba asserted.
Since the ancient days, people of Kangleipak have been living together under a bond of mutual dependence.
Kangleipak as a whole was an Asiatic sovereign power.
Kangleipak lost its sovereignty after king Budhachandra was forced to sign the Merger Agreement at Shillong on September 21, 1949 .
Nations who were waging wars of liberation could attain trajectory of dignity and progress only through sound policies of the revolutionaries and collective strength of people.
In another word, only collective strength of people and sound policies of the revolutionary groups can defeat the colonial rule.
All the people of Kangleipak need to understand the paramount importance of co-existence, mutual respect and collective progress.
Mutual dependence is one common character of all progressive nations, the Chairman stated.
Conveying deep concern over the alarming rise in crimes against women, the Chairman noted that many women including minor girls were raped and then murdered.
While in some cases their bodies were burnt or buried in the most brutal manner.
The nature of such crimes have certain elements which were unheard of in Kangleipak some years back.
Such gruesome crimes were unheard in the past when Kangleipak was independent because during those people have strong sense of discipline.
During those days, women and children were treated with respect and love.
However, after Kangleipak was allegedly annexed into India, Indian mindset of looking down upon women and keeping them at a subservient status spread to the people of Kangleipak.
New Delhi, India's capital, is one city in world where the maximum number of rape cases are reported.
Moral character of some people have been extremely degenerated because they were influenced by Indian Hindu practices and systems like Sati, child marriage, dowry, treatment of women as inferior beings, sale of women as commodities etc.
Observing that a trend of gang rape is being witnessed across India, Nongdrenkhomba stated that this gruesome trend is an offshoot of the age old flawed practices and systems of Indian society.
Although India is claiming to be the largest democracy, the true pictures of democracy cannot be seen in any part of India.
Indian democracy is bourgeois democracy dominated by a select class of influential and wealthy people.
GoI is one proponent of liberalism characterised by nepotism and opportunism.
Now, GoI has started enthusing their own ideas of liberalism to some people of Kangleipak.
Thus, many people have been transformed into self-centric, greedy elements who have no sense of fairness or sound judgement.
These people are instrumental in creating a mob culture.
But mob culture can never be incorporated within the genuine democratic struggle of the mass.
A mob can be erupted any time because of some grievances but mob cannot pass judgement.
Such practice is not at all democratic but this is a character of liberalism charged with communalism and excessive personal freedom.
"Our people need to abolish mob culture and mob judgement system, Nongdrenkhomba exhorted.
