US Government's Centre for Disease Control ( CDC) and Public Health Management Institute ( PHMI), Hyderabad have jointly selected Arun Meitram from Manipur for a one year Public Health Field Leader Fellowship.
Twenty-five young professionals with strong potential as future public health leaders across India were selected through a rigorous selection process recently for the one year public health leader fellowship programme.
This programme, is being coordinated and implemented by PHMI and is supported by the Global AIDS Program, US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Health & Human Services in collaboration with APSACS, Govt of Andhra Pradesh and International Centre Human Health Advancement.
Anupama Hazarika of Assam and Arun Meitram of Manipur are from the North East India among the 25 selected fellow.
Arun Meitram is currently working with WHO as consultant for NE States.
