Imphal, April 26:
Addressing the people, Toijamba said when the poor people cannot get their basic rights such as access to primary education, when they are denied the opportunity to earn a living and when the culture and tradition of the people are eroded, then there is every likelihood that the Meitei people will be wiped out from the world.
The only means to counter this is for the public and the armed organisations to join hands and fight.
The time has come for the people and the revolutionary outfits to chalk out the necessary strategies to present the Meitei people to the comity of Nations.
Some revolutionaries too do not seem to realise that by associating themselves with the political class of the State, they are being used by politicians, observed the KYKL Chairman.
There are also a number of revolutionaries who bask under the glow when being praised by India and their agent, said Toijamba and added that a number of revolutionaries have close associations with Indian agents.
This is known to the people.
Revolutionaries should know what type of relationships should be established with Indian agents.
Revolutionary outfits of Kangleipak need to work out new strategies from time to time to counter and defeat the plot hatched by India which include attempts to dilute the identity of the people and its culture, promote the culture of being lazy and unproductive opined Toijamba.
There are also a number of elements including those who are openly working to revive the culture and identity of the people, Indian agents, Ministers in collaboration with some revolutionaries who have struck out and killed individuals who were committed to working for the values and culture of Kangleipak, added Toijamba.
Kangleipak had its own indigenous script, but when the people embraced an alien religion, the indigenous script was discarded and instead the script of another people was used, said the statement.
When the movement to revive the indigenous script gained momentum, there were some revolutionaries who tried to discourage such a drive at the behest of RAW, asserted the outfit.
The Indian agents are still working over time to dilute and erode the identity of the people and destroy its culture and tradition, said the KYKL leader and added that time has come for the people of North East, the Mongoloids to join hands together and defeat the designs of India.
To the hill people, Toijamba said that they should not fall into the trap of India and stand against the Meitei people.
Such a stance will not bear any positive results.
The Meiteis know the devilish designs of India much better than the hill people, said Toijamba and urged the people to extend their co-operation and help in forging a united effort to save the identity of the people and its culture as well as promote the culture of work and dignity of labour.
