Out of Rs 80 crore that the State has to incur annually in purchasing power currently even coughing up 40 percent has become an uphill task, he said.
The inability to pay up the power dues results in reduction of State plan size as the Centre adjust the amount from the State allocation, added the Minister.
He also asserted that in view of such fund assistance technicalities the consumers should be imbibed with a sense of willingly clearing their electricity bill.
The Power Minister also announced of installing a power transformer at MG Avenue to reduce inconveniences of the bazar communities as well as of ongoing effort to establish a complaint and tax collection venue at an appropriate site in the main commercial area at the earliest.
