Korean band Biuret to rock Imphal on Dec 3

For first time in Manipur, music buffs will get to witness Korean band Biuret performing live on stage at YAC ground, Yaiskul on December 3 .
Chumthang Events and Promotion Manager Bode Paonam said that the K-pop group would perform at the Indo-Korean Music Festival 2013, organised in commemoration of the 40th year of Korea-India diplomatic relations.
The main objective of the festival is to share closer cultural ties between the people of North East and South Korea, he said and added that the one-day event would also feature BK & INA, Boby Techi and Dirty Strikes.
This is the first time for any K-pop band visiting the North East States, a region which has a huge fan following of Korean stars.
The band has previously toured UK, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and China.
The group is led by the Hye Won Moon (lead vocal, guitar, songwriter), Jai Hyun Ahn (bass guitar) and Gyo Won Lee (lead guitar) .
Formed in 2004, the band has performed in over 600 live shows from clubs, college festivals and TV shows, musical theatre productions, rock festivals to opening for the famous British rock group Oasis.
Biuret are the winners of SUTASI Pan Asian 2009, an Asian Talent reality-show held in Singapore.
