MoU inked

JCRE Skill Solutions, Thangmeiband and Australian Voca- tional Training and Employment Group have signed an MoU on providing skill development training and placement assistance.
The MoU was inked at the office of JCRE Skill Solutions, Thangmeiband today.
JCRE Director Niranjan Singh said that 70 percent of the State's population is unemployed out of which 10 lakh are youths.
According to different Em-ployment Exchanges of the State, Manipur has around 10 lakh youths, who are seeking employment, he said and add-ed that it means that around 70 percent of the State youths are searching for jobs.
JCRE is trying to offer placement opportunities to jobless youths by developing their skills through vocational training programmes, Niran-jan said.

The MoU, which was been signed with the Australian company, would help to a great extent in giving jobs to the youths of the State.
AVTEG Head of Operations, Prabhat Pandey said that 21st century belong to youths and there is need to empower them during this century.
Saying that a large number of youths in the whole India are still jobless, Prabhat Pandey said that they must be given proper skill development training in order to give them employment.
In Australia, Prabhat Pandey said, vocational training is given along with formal education.
JCRE faculty Tarnajit was also present at the occasion.
