Imphal, November 23 2013 :
The Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA) Moreh Block has expressed concern over the uncertainty condition pertaining to the developmental programmes being taken up in Moreh area.
In a statement, the KCA Moreh Block said that Minister of RD and PR Francis Ngajokpa and other concerned engineers made work site inspection from Moreh to Wokso Part I and from Moreh to Maojang under PMGSY- phase-8 and ordered speedy implementation of the works.
However, the work order for Moreh-Maojang stretch has been not issued despite the work progress made.
Surprisingly, in a most unlikely manner, the work order was found to have been issued in the name of an unknown contractor who is not involved in the work at all.
Stating that such sinister practice not only underestimate the prestige of the concerned MLA, contractor and the people but has also done grave injustice, the Association observed that if such practices were further allowed to persist, misunderstanding and unhealthy outcome are bound to follow sooner or later.
