Imphal, September 22 2010:
The State Vigilance Commission has recommended to the State Government to suspend a person from service who joined as an Arts Graduate teacher in the School Education Department under the Die-in-Harness scheme on the false claim of being an adopted son.
The matter came to light when the State Vigilance Commission investigated the case of one Md Salaudin s/o Md Asraf Ali of Lilong Chingkham Makha who joined service as an Arts Graduate Teacher under the Die-in-Harness scheme.
The State Government had some misgivings over his joining the service and accordingly entrusted the Vigilance Commission to investigate the matter and submit its findings.
The investigate led to the conclusion that Md Salaudin had falsely claimed himself to be the adopted son of late MV Yashin and joined the service under Die-in-Harness scheme in January 2004 as a Art Graduate teacher in Abdul Ali High Madrassa located at Lilong.
During the course of the investigation, the Commission requested the appointment order of Salaudin from the School Education Department.
In its response, the School Education Department conveyed that there is no file of Salaudin and the appointment order on whose basis Salaudin had joined the service was that of one Md Kheirudin.
From further investigation, the Vigilance Commission has also found out that the conveyed order of the Government used by Salaudin to join his service as well as the UO number issued by the Department of Personnel were bogus.
Consequently, the Commission has recommended to the Government for suspending Salaudin from service.
