The Kuki Students Organization (KSO) General Headquaters salutes the "Little Fighter" MC Mary Kom, nick-named as The Golden Girl of Indian Women Boxing for winning the World Boxing Championship title for the Fifth time.
The KSO press statement said that the whole Kuki community is immensely proud of her achievement which is unparalleled in the history of Indian sports.
"She is truly a symbol of determination and an epitome of will power, who over-come every challenge in life, to excel in her chosen discipline of sports," said the statement.
She has made the whole country and the Kuki community in particular; she is truly an inspiration and a role model to us all.
The statement further goes to said that she is the best, who moves like a butterfly and sting like a bee, better than the world famous Mohammad Ali in her category! .
The KSO harbors the hope that she will be fairly rewarded this time round for this no mean feat of her by the state government, and not like 2005 when she was shabbily treated, that is at par with the one who had won the bronze.
The KSO ioffers her the highest salutation and wishes her all the best for her future endeavor.
The release also refers to the issue of the Association of DPC successful candidates, Manipur where the KSO fully empathize with the predicament they are in.
The KSO sincerely appeal to the concern authority to resolve the issue at the earliest.
If the Association of DPC successful Candidates are ignored without any valid reason after this appeal, the KSO intent take up the case along with her sister organizations, the statement added.
The KSO also express utter surprises at the Electoral Roll Revision 2010 published on September 10 (Type of Revision � Summary Revision) in which Parbung under Tipaimukh sub-division, under ADC Churachandpur, PS Parbung PIN code 795 143 was listed as an SDC circle under Samulamlan Block.
The KSO asked, "Is this a case of cross over sighted?" The KSO urge the concern authority to remedy the erroneous mistake at the earliest.
It state that the KSO and its sister organization the HAS will closely monitor the issue and if the issue is not set right soon the two organization resolve to take up any means deem necessary to rectify it.
