BJP leader lambasts State Govt

Taking a dig at the State Government, Former National Secretary of the BJP, Rameshwar Prasad Chowrasiya has alleged that corruption is rampant and Rs 400 crore meant for cleansing Loktak Lake has been siphoned off during 13 years of Congress rule in the State.
The BJP leader, who is currently on a four-day visit to Manipur and Nagaland, was addressing a press conference at BJP office at Nityaipat Chuthek this evening.
Chowrasiya said that after the BJP came to power at Delhi the rate of corruption is decreasing in the country and added that Narendra Modi is one of the strongest Prime Ministers that the country has ever had.
He said that the people of Manipur have been suffering since the past 13 years due to rampant corruption of the Congress Government and even the bureaucrats are working hands in gloves with corrupt Congress politicians.
Exuding confidence that BJP candidate would come out victorious in the Hiyanglam AC by-election, Chowrasiya said that his party would storm to power in the next State Assembly election as people want development and they have faith in Modi.
In Jammu and Kashmir as well, BJP would form the Government, he added.
Saying that many projects are being planned by the Centre for Manipur, Chowrasiya said that stringent measures would be put into effect so that public money does not get looted by corrupt politicians.
Maintaining that the Prime Minister is fully committed to bringing development to the country and welfare to its people, the BJP leader said that Narendra Modi, who is formerly a Chief Minister of Gujarat, which has a population of around 60 million people, is now a guardian to 1250 million people of the country.
Further lauding the Prime Minister, Rameshwar Prasad Chowrasiya claimed that Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country to have earned maximum honour from the leaders of other countries.
All eyes on now on Modi, he said and added that even leaders of foreign countries are expecting miraculous governance and policies from the Indian Prime Minister.
Claiming that Modi has demolished caste politics in Bihar and UP, Rameshwar Prasad Chowrasiya said that the people of North East region have faith in the Prime Minister.
He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi opposes every form of extremism as it is a hurdle to peace and development.
