Professor Amar Yumnam has exuded confidence that Manipur's stable of entrepreneurs can combat the debilitating economy and come out with flying colours.
Speaking at the inaugural Investors Meet at Manipur University Centenary Hall this afternoon,Yumnam said that the all round lack of professionalism which had been a curse for ages, is now gradually becoming a thing of the past.
The event was organized by Renovator and Developer Manipur in association with Swaran Enterprises, who has a business concern in franchise consultation.
Aviation Hospitality and Management Limited and AKIKO Call Net, two franchisee units based in Imphal presented their promotional statements.
He hailed the new generation as a progressive group, endowed with excellent professional skills and the capability to take on the biggest challenges.
The latest shift in the trade policy of India, emphasized by the focus on East Asia has put the State's entrepreneurs in a make or break situation.
The challenges are steep but we have a habit of getting the best from ourselves during adversity, alluding at an economical leap for the state.
Th Swaran Meitei claimed that the economy of Manipur is on the verge of breaking down and insisted that the repairing job is at the hands of the young entrepreneurs.
He added, the people of Manipur need to enjoy the benefits of the growth of the national economy.
