The State Cabinet has agreed on recruitment of 135 more Primary teachers in addition to the number of posts for which DPC is going
on.
A Cabinet meeting held this afternoon with the Chief Minister in the chair resolved to recruit 135 more Primary teachers to fill up the posts vacated by teachers who retired till 2007 .
SPF Govt spokesman N Biren said 42 seats would be reserved for Schedule Tribes, three for Scheduled Caste while the remaining 90 seats would be of general category.
The Cabinet also agreed on appointment of 10 Matriculate teachers and another 10 Hindi Graduate teachers.
Further, the State Cabinet gave consent to appointment of 14 jail Warders to fill up the posts currently lying vacant.
The meeting also discussed about issuing necessary formal orders for keeping certain quotas for disabled persons in recruitment in Government jobs.
