Imphal, August 20 2016 :
Inter-ference of other organisations on the internal affairs of CC Higher Secondary School and the unwanted incident which occurred should not be repeated, said DESAM, ATSUM, KSO and MUTSU during a joint press conference today.
Briefing mediapersons at KSO, Imphal office located at Tribal Market, New Lambulane, DESAM vice president Aheibam Ananda said, "A scuffle broke out again among the students of CC Higher Secondary School today.
The matter has been looked into by DESAM, ATSUM, KSO and MUTSU" .
A similar incident had occurred on August 18.In order to prevent such unwanted incident from recurring, local organisations should not interfere and create misunder- standings, Aheibam Ananda said.
"The State Government and respective school authority should make sure that such disturbing incident is not repeated not only in CC Higher School but also in other educational institutions as well.
If it is repeated, the State Government and the interfering parties or organisations will be held responsible for any incident which will follow thereafter," he added.
He also appealed to all the students who have come from far flung places to put fear aside and concentrate on their studies.
KSO president Shon Baite said that such incidents had repeatedly occurred in CC Higher Secondary School in the past as well and added that this has become a hindrance to the academic career of the students.
"Students of TG Higher Secondary School and Royal Academy of Science, Wangkhei are now more interested in agitation instead of concentrating on their academic career.
In the process, instigation by outside parties or organisations will create misapprehension among the students.
Therefore, unnecessary interference should be avoided.
Students should, on the other hand, focus on studies," Shon Baite asserted.
