Nemcha Kipgen inspects vaccination drive at Parsian, provides relief items

As a part of the active campaign on mass vaccination, Kangpokpi AC MLA, Nemcha Kipgen personally visited and monitored the mass vaccination held today at Parsain under Kangpokpi AC.
The vaccination drive was organized by COVID Task Force Parsian Area in collaboration with the medical staff of PHC Kalapahar under the initiative of the local MLA.
It may be mentioned that during the vaccination drive, data operators had a hard time uploading details of the beneficiaries owing to slow internet connection and as a result some people were sent back.
The local MLA accompanied by Abhay Kumar Giri, organizational General Secretary of BJP Manipur state had a brief meeting with people of the Parsain area and extensively disseminated authentic information on the COVID vaccine and the need for vaccination.
Meanwhile, Nemcha Kipgen also received her second dose of Covid vaccine today.
After receiving her jab, the MLA stressed on the need to escalate Covid vaccination in order to curl the rising number of infection and fatality in the constituency.
She also urged the people to not fall into misleading claims shared about Covid vaccine in different social media platforms while adding that there should be no room for politics during this testing time.
"I want the people of my constituency to know that they are not alone, and we will fight this together", asserted the MLA.
To ensure that no one goes hungry at these unprecedented times, the local MLA also provides essential items including rice, dal, etc to the people without ration cards in the Parsian area comprising seven largely populated villages dominated by the Nepali community.
Abhay Kumar Giri also joined the MLA in distributing rice and dal to the beneficiaries.
Nemcha Kipgen also provided sports materials including football, volleyball, and net apart from the huge quantity of rice and dal to Dharmodaya Veda Vigyan Gurukul situated at Santolabari.
The MLA was also seen helping financially an aged Diabetic patient at Parsain to get her medicine and treatment.
Nemcha Kipgen also dispatched a huge quantity of foodgrains for non-Ration Card holders to Irang Part-I and Irang Part-II, Makui, Naga Tapon, Haijang, J Songtun, etc through the concerned COVID Task Force.
