ADC Sadar Hills hands over ALS ambulance to CMO Kpi

Kangpokpi, July 07 2021:
As a part of its tireless effort to help the Medical Department in the fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic in Kangpokpi District, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi today handed over an ALS Ambulance to the Chief Medical Officer Kangpokpi.
ADC Sadar Hills have so far provided 4 ambulances including the Advanced Life Support Ambulance handed today to the medical department.
Caretaker Chairman, ADC Sadar Hills, Haokholal Hangshing handed over the Advance Life Support ambulance to Dr J Touthang, CMO Kangpokpi in the presence of James Doujapao Haokip, MCS, Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi, former vice chairman of ADC Sadar Hills and other former ADC Sadar Hills Members & medical officials.
Speaking of the occasion, Haokholal Hangshing said that the ALS ambulance was handed over to the medical department as a part of the ADC Sadar Hill's initiative to combat the pandemic in the district.
He instructed the Chief Medical Officer to ensure that the ambulances were used accordingly on COVID-19 related matters only while appealing to the people of Kangpokpi to understand the importance of ambulances and render maximum cooperation & support to the ambulance drivers & patients.
Meanwhile, James Doujapao Haokip said that the ambulances were procured by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Hills Department under the 15th Finance Commission of the ADCs.
He also mentioned that another two ambulances with built-in Basic Life Support and 'Auto stretcher foldable legs' procured under the Ministry were also handed over to the medical department earlier.
