Imphal, August 12 2021: Yairipok Thambalnu Sahitya Marap cum Library has invited poets to submit four copies of their books for consideration for the Dr Romesh Kumar Thiyam Ningshing Khorirol Mana 2021 to its office or its general secretary Niranjan Usham.

As per a release, the books submitted by the poets must be the first edition published in 2018,2019 and 2020.The award has been sponsored by late Dr Romesh Thiyam's father Raghubir Thiyam and it consists of cash prize of Rs 10,000, shawl and citation.The award, which will be given after every three years, will be presented for the first time on January 3,2022 on the occasion of 29th foundation day of Yairipok Thambalnu Sahitya Marup cum Library, it added.
