RIMS Nurses commend Director

RIMS Nurses Association, Lamphelpat has extended its gratitude to the director of the Institute for conducting the DPC and providing constant support and encouragement to the doctors, nurses and attendants during the Covid 19 pandemic.
In a statement released by its president T Sunita Chanu, the Association stated that under the guidance and supervision of the director, RIMS has been able to lower the mortality rate during the pandemic.
In addition to providing necessary training to the nurses as required from time to time, the Institute has been extending affordable care to patients including free medicines, low rates for MRI and CT scans.
This has helped in improving the relationship between nurses and patients and likewise between the hospital and patient parties.
Some of the most significant initiatives undertaken by RIMS was providing free Covid-19 vaccine to the people, and allowing the nurses to quarantine after finishing their duty at the hospital.
The hospital administration work hard for the welfare and safety of the patients, doctors, nurses and attendants, which is highly appreciated and relayed the same to the director, it conveyed.
Meanwhile, the Association convened a consultative meeting on Monday, which, according to the senior members was necessary for all the nurses in the Institute, the statement added.
