Put dogs in chain, says Chief Secretary

Imphal, January 19 2015:
In view of reported cases of dog-bites and deaths in some districts, Chief Secretary of the State on Monday instructed all district administrations to ensure that the public put their dogs in chain and not to let them loose on the streets.
In an official order, Chief Secretary PC Lawmkunga asked all district administrations to issue immediate instructions in this regard and make announcement through public address system.
It also asked the district administrations to see that this instruction is carried out immediately.
