Imphal, January 19 2015:
Alleging that all the Ministers of the incumbent Congress Government have been indulging in all kinds of wrongdoings including graft practices in their respective departments, MLA Th Shyamkumar said that he would go to Delhi today itself to apprise the matter to the Prime Minister and the Union Finance Minister.
Speaking to some media persons at his Kanglapat residential quarters this afternoon, Shyamkumar claimed that he possesses documentary evidence about many Congress Ministers indulging in graft practices.
In case the Union Government refuses to take up necessary action .
even after furnishing documentary evidence, Shyamkumar said he would resign from the post of MLA in the first week of April this year and continue serving the public as a social worker.
He said that he would camp at Delhi until the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Manipur give their assurance to rectify all the wrongdoings of the incumbent Ministers of the Government of Manipur.
There is no sign of governance in Manipur at the moment.
Accountability and responsibility have been thrown down the gutter.
Shyamkumar lamented that Manipur today has become a land of total anarchy and chaos.
He questioned how bureaucratic officers have been building palatial homes while all public projects have been making little progress despite investing crores and crores of rupees.
Even as many people have died due to dog bites in the State including ten within Andro A/C, Veterinary Minister Govindas Konthoujam is busy making money out of procurement and distribution of buffaloes rather than paying any attention to the rabies outbreak, Shyamkumar asserted.
Although many people have died due to rabies, the Health Department has been sitting idle.
The Education Minister has also failed miserably in ensuring timely availability of class IX and class X text books thereby jeopardising career of thousands of students.
He pledged that he would not leave any stone unturned in his efforts to persuade the Prime Minister to initiate necessary action against the corrupt Ministers of Manipur.
