ANSAM appeals Mao Council, SAPO to resolve issue

All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has fervently appealed the Mao Council and Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) to resolve their differences amicably.
"Being aware of the sensitive situation prevailing over the Koz�ri/Kezol issue, we humbly appeal to your esteemed organizations to facilitate and provide much needed space for peaceful and amicable settlement on the basis of traditional history and customary practices," said ANSAM.
It also appealed the two bodies for restrain, patience, and tolerance against disturbing the daily activities of the public, particularly the students' community, the future of "our people", whose careers and fraternal spirits are valued assets of the Naga people.
"Placing our utmost confidence in the wisdom of the leaders of the Mao Council and Southern Angami Public Organization, ANSAM makes this humble submission in the hope that the spirit of peaceful reconciliation and resolution of the issue would prevail for the greater interest of the Nagas at large," ANSAM said.
Further, ANSAM offered its "assistance and services" if required in bringing about any process that would result in peaceful and amicable settlement of the issue on the basis of traditional history and customary practices.
