RIMS doctors donate medical oxygen cylinders

Imphal, June 09 2021: Considering the increasing need for medical oxygen in the treatment of Covid patients at these challenging times, doctors working in RIMS hospital donated medical oxygen cylinders in their respective capacity.

A release by RIMS media advisor N Philip Singh informed that head of Neurology department professor Th Suraj Singh donated two medical oxygen cylinders to RIMS medical superintendent professor H Priyosakhi Devi and director professor A Santa Singh.

Deputy medical superintendents Prof Th Sachindeba Singh and Prof N Sanjib Singh, along with assistant medical superintendent Dr Y Arunkumar Singh, head of Respiratory department Prof H Sunanda Devi, head of Paediatrics Prof Ch Shyamsundar Singh and Prof Y Chingsuingamba and Dr L Ushakiran of department of Ophthalmology also donated one medical cylinder each to the medical superintendent, said the release.

Meanwhile, the RIMS director and the medical superintendent appreciated and thanked the doctors for their act of generosity in such difficult times and stated that the donations would significantly improve the management of Covid patients in the institute.
