SBI Foundation, others donate to CM-CRF

Imphal, June 09 2021:
SBI Foundation on Wednesday donated an ambulance (Magic Express 6+P Type-B) to the Chief Minister's COVID-19 Relief Fund (CM-CRF) as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and to assist in the government's effort to fight the pandemic.
The Foundation also decided to provide medical equipment worth over Rs one crore to the state for development of permanent infrastructure in the health sector.
Meanwhile, Sauramandala Foundation founder Nagakarthik MP donated 25 Oxygen Concentrators (5L), 50 Portable Concentrators and 10,000 numbers of N95 masks; Ching Tam News Manipur contributed Rs 1,77,777; Superintending Engineer (RED) Lairenjam Maipak Singh donated Rs 55,234; former minister N Mangi Singh donated Rs 1,10,000; and BJP Manipur Pradesh Weaver Cell convener L Soroji- ni Devi contributed an amount of Rs 10,000 to the CM-CRF.
Wangoo GP pradhan P Baleshwor Singh and Wangoo Borayangbi ZP member M Brojen Singh contributed a collective sum of Rs 1,10,000 while Kumbi College principal K Jugeshwor Singh and chairman of National Teacher awardee M Man- gi Singh jointly donated Rs 1,10,000 to the Relief Fund.
Chief minister N Biren expressed his thankfulness and sincere gratitude to the SBI Foundation and also to those organisations and individuals who extended support in this crucial hour of fighting the pandemic.
