MoU signed to make TrueNat machine functional

Churachandpur, May 30 2021:
District Hospital, Churachandpur and Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) on Saturday signed an MoU to make the hospital's TrueNat Machine functional.
While signing the MoU, the district hospital was represented by medical superintendent Dr Vanlalkungi and CCI/RAISE North East was represented by its project coordinator Parnei Vaiphei.
According to the MoU, CCI with the support from CBM India Trust donated 50 sets of TrueNat Test Chips which are essential for operating the TrueNat Machine.
The TrueNat Machine was provided to the district hospital by the government.
The district hospital will charge Rs 1,150 per test so that the remunerated amount will be used only to buy more chips to serve more people in the community.
CCI had also donated two oxygen concentrators, oximeters, BP apparatuses, masks, gloves, fumigator, etc., to the District Hospital during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
