BJP observes Sardar Patel's death anniversary

As part of Sardar Vallabhai Patel's 63rd death anniversary which is being observed by BJP across the country under the banner 'Statue of Unity', BJP Manipur unit today organised a march from Tiddim ground to Nityaipat Chuthek under the banner 'Run for Unity' .
'Run for Unity' march was organised in 1100 different places across the country in celebration of the Sardar Vallabhai Patel's 597 feet high statue being constructed by BJP over Narmada river.
The statue has already been christened 'Statue of Unity' .
The run for unity march organised at Imphal was participated by around 2000 people and they were flagged off by BJP Manipur unit president Th Chaoba.

They marchers carried placards embossed with different slogans, all of which denounced the Congress Government.
Later speaking at a public meeting at the party office, Th Chaoba said that today's rally was organised in remembrance of the selfless efforts made by Sardar Vallabhai Patel for national unity.
In connection with the rally organised across the country, BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi launched a website.
Through the website, the entire country has been informed about BJP's efforts for national unity cutting across caste, creed, community and religions.
BJP State unit has been assured assistance in a big way for development of the North Eastern States including Manipur.
Chaoba went on to claim that Congress would never return to power again.
The debacle suffered by Congress in the Assembly elections of four States was the outcome of the party's deep involvement in multiple corruption cases.
Stating that other States have started toppling Congress Governments, Chaoba asserted that it's time for Manipur to follow suit.
He further exuded that people of Manipur would help reinstatement of NDA to power at Delhi by electing two BJP MPs from the State.
